Honoring
the Legacy and Passion
of
Gobena Balcha
Dear friends and family,
As we reflect on the incredible life of Gobena and the deep void left by his passing, our family has been searching for a meaningful way to keep his spirit alive. We want to ensure that the values he championed and the passion that defined him continue to make a tangible impact in the community he cherished deeply.
To honor him, we are establishing the Gobena Balcha Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Gobena was very passionate about uplifting and helping underprivileged students. Through this memorial scholarship, we aim to support deserving students by sending them to St. Joseph High School in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia—Gobena's beloved alma mater. Our initial goal is to raise $12,000 to cover the school fees and related expenses for two students throughout their four years of high school.
We cannot do this alone. We are asking those who loved Gobena—and those who believe in the values he stood for—to join us in building this lasting legacy.
